OBJECTIVES
Objective:
Streamline the use of technology.
Measure 1: Document technology being used within each department. * Document all technology currently used and the scope/effectiveness of its use.
Initiative 1: Map out existing technology, who is it used by, how they use it, and for what purpose.
Initiative 2: Identify technology overlap and use and report back to committee.
Measure 2: Incorporate into employee onboarding (what tech to use and how and when).
Initiative 1: Writing SOPs around what tech we want people to use, how, and when, and requests of new technology.
Initiative 2: HR incorporate above information into onboarding and training.
Initiative 3: Build online training for use of the technology.
Objective:
Increase, invest in, and enhance employee growth, skill sets, expertise, and mastery.
Measure 1: Each department identifies area of expertise.
Initiative 1: Analyze national metrics (AI, equitable evaluation, utilization focused evaluation, quality improvement models, training models, state/federal standards in early childhood) to determine where CCNY is in comparison.
Initiative 2: Review budget to see if it can support professional development.
Measure 2: Identify training for each staff in performance review. * Identify formal areas of growth and development for employees to include formal training, leadership training, conferences and technical upskilling; document in performance evaluations to measure growth.
Initiative 1: Translate the above into professional development plans for staff.
Initiative 2: Identify available conferences for professional development opportunities.
Objective:
Establish a workplace culture of continuous improvement, entrepreneurial creativity, ethics, and social responsibility.
Measure 1: Employees’ input is valued, celebrated, and implemented. *Employee input regarding corporate events, volunteering, etc.
Initiative 1: Find and then conduct a supervisory training that aids in providing a safe space to brainstorm and receive as a contributor.
Initiative 2: Survey the staff to ascertain the efficacy of the training (pre, post, annual).
Measure 2: Encourage community involvement and allow "ownership" of their local networks/relationships, including how best to leverage those relationships to support the work.
Initiative 1: Establish an employee committee for community involvement.
Initiative 2: Committee to identify and map out current and future-desired community partnerships and associated staff to reach out to those entities.
Initiative 3: Committee to report back to directors on how best to incorporate the community relationship (how their participation aligns with personal and organizational goals).
